KABAYAN VERSUS USTADZ

Once upon a time, there was a man who was a funny,wise, and well-intelligent man named Kabayan in the Village ought to go abroad for his scholarship in Art and Culture Department in one of USA University. Not for long time to learn about Art and Culture in USA, Kabayan had come home in the Village and succeeded to get his Master in Art and Culture. But Nyi Iteung, his wife, was confused to look at the different character of her husband after taking the higher education abroad.

       Nyi Iteung said to her husband “Why don’t you go to Mosque, Shaum and learning Quran as what you do before?”

       “What for?” he replied.

       “For our soul, you said it before you went to America and our children.” Said Nyi Iteung then.

       “If you’re still like that, I wanna go to Ambu and Abah in my village” added Nyi Iteung. “And don’t come into our house when you are still bad behaviour to What Allah give to you!” said Nyi Iteung angrily.

       As soon as his wife left him alone, he considered that he had lost all things to make him happy to live with others and of course with his family. So that he found a teacher or “Ustadz” to complain about his problem with Iteung in the neighbour village.

       What the first time he asked to Ustadz was “Ustadz, I have question for you. if it were true that human has destiny, show me what the destiny is!” told him hard and so proudly to Ustadz after he complained everything about his family to him till his  wife left him alone and  he was sad because  of it.

       “Slappp!!!!” Ustadz’s hand landed on Kabayan’s cheek.

       “When you got angry with my questions about destiny, don’t be like that you did to me!” said Kabayan high voice.

       “Hei... Kabayan, I’m not angry with you. hehehe..” said Ustadz gigli

       “Do you know that I can give you the slapp before I come to you?”

       “No, I don’t”

       “That’s what we sa the destiny”

       “How do you feel my slapp?”

       “It’s hurt” replied Kabayan with low voice.

       “Hehehehe... you went to the high education in America and you’ve never thought the answer is.. oh poor you are! Continued Ustadz.

       “So.. don’t you ever think that all problems by using your logical thinking because no all problems of human is the same treatment as one’s answer from Allah.”

       Kabayan nodes.

       “That’s why your wife left you with your children. Your high acknowledge is nothing when you never learn what Allah gives to you at all.”

       “So how do you do after all of this?” asked Kabayan weekly

       “Be yourself hehehhehe...” answered Ustadz happily and left him alone...
