IS IT IMPORTANT TO CONSOLIDATE THE VIRTUAL CLASS?

A Virtual Class or the other name is learning from home as a learning model by using sophisticated technology in communication devices. When Covid 19 pandemic is getting rose cases, the virtual class model is a target model approval lesson from primary, secondary, until  higher education. Everyone really improves to do the virtual engagement, all people make a new concept about it and so many things around the school and education, made by this sophisticated model with all new products. All level people are going to be more attention through the things which should be done or learnt but it’s not tough to stick out. The polemic finally gets surround pulse and internet quota in Indonesia.

When it is taken from the positive impact, technology is indeed giving a hand  to developed education. Both students and teachers are improving their basically technology’s skill. The demand of Virtual classroom, virtual meeting, searching material, video or film maker, audio visual usages rises. Automatically provider companies and content creators compete tightly by adding some newest features of the tools. The features are intentionally going to be easier to the users because of its sophisticated modifying tools. However it’s sometime coming one’s way, it can be hard time to come over, then what the reality sends is not actually the same with what the natural meeting in the class to enjoy the classroom. It’s finally not quite strong enough to get the point of lesson . 

Whereas after virtual class was approved by running the class model till slowly down over pandemic situation, teachers must make some alternated creatively material so that the students will not face the bored situation which arises stagnant moody behavior through their virtual class. Blended learning method is planning against it in order to make the lesson is shorter, effective, and joyful. Teachers automatically have a lot of effort to catch and apply through acknowledge in many creative contents for having this hopeful challenging moment into students by becoming whatever they could be even though it’s actually not their own world. This is the biggest challenge upon teachers or educators,who expect to improve quality for students, is going to chase newest technology for the goal. They becomes video maker, video editor, short film maker, acting as actor and actress, main and supporting actor/actress or producer. All works are done for being cynosure students in order to consistently direct their students, at least it changes student’s point of view about something in joyful concept. By these efforts, students can also be expected to compete, struggle, be patient, tough and careful against their life. In contrary fact, no all have the same idea between one teacher to another so that blended learning tendency could be harsh to applicable completely working out.  Each teacher has sometime different concept meanwhile blended learning needs working as a team and compactness idea. Seem pity indeed, it can be shown up through education society in pandemic digital era. How shall it go on continuously in order that the real and the behavior instinct have got an absorbing student’s life?

Frankly, to teach attitude for being polite, discipline, tough, patient, responsible, tolerant is more difficult rather than to teach English structure; but it doesn’t mean it can be, of course.  Beside nowadays teachers, who are expected to influence students for better attitude, must educate them on virtual approach;  before the pandemic situation, teacher has a harm to strengthen and train them to be more  better directly. Why? Because they are so difficult to be educated is that they have a diversity in family background and atmosphere and neither does in giving  reward and punishment because of their attitude among other above, not in being the same engagement. Therefore their critically thinking is not established comprehensively influence in their own zone.  It’s, of course, predictable the building character what teachers have planned which can’t appear in their daily activities both in school, house and scope; therefore this is the complicated things when teacher must give a positive impact from virtual behavior. Moreover teachers are not a shiloute who can interpenetrate through space in the same time for all students. The sample what the writer will express is factual in Whatssapp group’s chat, many students ask or tell without introducing first, and talk to their teacher such they talk with their friends, use their own slank word sometime without respecting to elders or adults. Nothing is a mistaken thing, but how to control them needs indeed more long time and process. Then teachers get some challenging things to overcome the process which is not a simple case as what anyone’s seen. To bring up requiring process is not short term and to transfer acknowledgement needs tactic and strategy, these are which are unspoken among lesson-teachers. The discussion is only around how the video performance, not discussion about how students actually think in their mind when  seeing the blended lesson video? Whether is amazed performance or caught core target from the lesson? Perhaps this begins to endorse when the teachers need becoming professional teachers. The writer is a generally teacher also comforts through Idol K-POP and K-Drama hard work by their performance, which can be accepted and noticed the song’s lyrics/ story as the easiest and comprehended writing by the artist itself or author, where expresses young man feeling about something and how to react obviously onto the manner against it; I can really learn more from all young men created SM Entertainment, which belongs to K-Pop International School as a training place for the chosen young men. They work 24 hours, get wet from their sweat in their training gym class just to practice many choreographers around the song they made in order that other people can take the benefit as their hard working. Learning many languages to entertain is prepared for all members so that many audiences (netizens) feel loved and respected by their idol. The young men are around 14 - 28 getting some training till they are expert in their field and can be patient for their debut. The core which they spread is about learning as hard working has to train patiently, effectively and cheerfully. Finally, K-pop and K-drama Idol are indeed famous in five continents.

Teacher isn’t a famous core necessity, but innovation and creativity in lesson packaging is the goal. Everyone can be a teacher. However a completely teacher will suppose to liven up frustrating and having overfulliness when his students can’t respond as what he expects. It becomes usually refraction meanwhile he meets against the funniest student’s attitudes. Teacher has only trust and confident principal, to conquer student’s heart. It’s not being weakness through students, who are subdued by their teacher, are more respectable what their teacher does to be more closer, more recognizing, and more understanding them in many situations. However there is more extremely to say because they have been frustrated against the pandemic,  so then they begin to accept firmly their teacher.

Anywhere the word often heard and delivered by the students to handle pandemic situation is frustration. In fact, it’s not students who have frustration atmosphere, sometime teacher and parents are too.  Otherwise it needs communicating obviously freshly; both teacher, parents and students. If students got frustration because of being less for playing time, teachers frustrate due to be able for student’s absorbing material onto the thoughtful of blended learning or no task responds or unresponding class meeting, ignorance for the lesson. Parents have frustration because of embarrassing for unresponsive kid in learning class or given task, irresponsibility upon the house activity, hard to make them set up all things for their life, a lot of playing game and late for taking a nap,  suppose adult,  difficult in being discipline while they must pay the school fee as usual and so on. The sample case based on true story, there was coming up a student at pandemic lately in virtual class at  2 – 5 times a month, no task order done, tending against the existing rule, trying to escape from the batlle-axe mother by climbing or camping.  How hard parents asks to force their kid for realizing his annoyed attitude, so it’s what he was done against them. Teenager doesn’t like curiosity of what he likes or done, he also dislikes supposing a baby, doesn’t understand the situation, dislikes advice for long term or forbids all things. Meanwhile teacher and parents are in adult position, they are awry position; when they don’t keep in touch or keep watching the students/kid, they would feel sorry after the bad things in negative side had happened upon them/him. This is the time for communicating between students, parents and teachers. This can be firmly, regularly and softly. It depends on the case and family educated background.

Therefore, teachers, parents and students have a deal with what they will do. Positive and negative consequences  as the reward and punishment should also be deal with them to apply for consolidation in building up soul improvement through good behavior and it can be synergy onto the action. Not different in teachers, school and government or parents as people society, district/region and center government have also to make a deal with each other. Consolidation is necessary to see how far the norm which runs on applying life in society and how to overcome the gap between them. Appreciation as reward must have been power to run the applicable policy. The appreciation is usually chaining on wages/money orientation reference. To spring competitive spirit in society needs a based benchmark achievement from a unit of neighborhood’s board, citizen association, until the region/district unit. It means that education is not only chained around students and school, but also society around the school is necessity to have an applicable platform which is not just a sheet of letter. Practically sample in a region must have many unities of neighborhood board, citizen association, Headman of district, Sub-district, Regent, Mayor, Governor.  Whether the biggest contribution from school through the community depends of consolidation for example, A’s school enhances the level for   attitude and behavior of the peddlers or mini market owners surround the school. The leader of  the community above should give the punishment through both the peddlers and shop owners who ignore to a school rule for bad behavior students and the other side, they can give a reward to the peddlers and shop owners who help stand by the school’s rule by giving incentive capital for their business from UMKM.

This’s  time to change method for learning session in school and community. Keep spirit for the life challenge. I hope we can do the better life after applying the hard effort.
